SUMMARY

I received Laplink software when I purchased my new computer, and I now need to reformat my hard drive. What can I do to make sure that I can reinstall it when I've finished reinstalling Windows?

SOLUTION

When a computer manufacturer, also known as Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) licenses Laplink software from Laplink Software Inc., the license agreement stipulates that the OEM will provide a method for the computer owner to transfer the Laplink application to a second computer, or to reinstall LapLink. The method used to fulfill this requirement is the OEM's choice.

Also, if you contact us via our Contact page and provide us with a serial number, we can also give you a download link to redownload your software.
